Who runs Stylist Math

Stylist Math is a free tool provided by Sagebrush Studio. [Add legal entity name, address, and contact email here.]

What we collect

• Without an account: what you type into the calculator stays in your own browser. It is not sent to us.
• With an account: your email address, your password (stored only as a one-way hash), and the scenarios and services you choose to save. While you are signed in, a login session record also holds your IP address and browser details, and is deleted when it expires or you sign out.
• If you tick the box on the results page: your email address, the date and time you agreed, and the source (“stylistmath-results”). We email you a confirmation button first; you are only added to the list after you click it, and sign-ups that are never confirmed are deleted after 7 days. We do not store your calculator results with it.
• On your own device: your calculator answers, any copies you choose to save, a Recently deleted list (kept 30 days), your display settings (dark mode, text size), the date of your last backup, and a saved copy of the pages so the calculator works offline. These stay in your browser and are never sent to us. You can erase them any time in Settings.
• Account emails: if you sign up or ask for a sign-in link or password reset, we send you an email for that purpose.
• Price menu and results image: these are made in your browser. What you type there is not sent to us.
• If you send feedback: the message you write and the page you sent it from. Please do not include information about your clients.
• Error reports: when something breaks on our server we record a short, scrubbed description of the error, the page path with any ids removed, and the app version. No names, emails, IP addresses or account ids are stored in error reports.
• Usage counts: we count how many scenarios are saved and how many price lists are downloaded or copied. These are anonymous totals with a timestamp, not tied to you.

We do not use advertising or analytics scripts, and we do not track which pages you view.

How we use it

To run the calculator, save your work, sign you in, answer your feedback, fix errors, and, only if you ticked the box, to send you the email you asked for and occasional tips and news about Sagebrush Studio products such as Backbar Tracker and the Stylist Startup Kit. Services we use

We use hosting and service providers to run Stylist Math: Vercel (website hosting), Neon (database hosting) and Microsoft Outlook (sending account emails such as your sign-up confirmation, from our own mailbox). They process data on our behalf. [Confirm the list and add links to each provider's terms.]

What the operator receives

[ATTORNEY REVIEW] Sagebrush Studio (the operator) receives aggregate usage counts (for example, how many accounts exist and how many price lists were downloaded) and the contact email of account owners, for support and to run the product. It does not receive anything about the clients of the people who use Stylist Math.

How long we keep it

Feedback and error reports are deleted after 180 days. Account data is kept until you delete your account. [Confirm retention for the mailing list and any backups.]

Your choices

• Delete your account and all saved data any time from the Account page.
• Remove your email from the mailing list any time at the remove-my-email page, or with the removal link at the bottom of every email we send.
